Very Good class, if one is looking for something extra beyond whats taught in text books. Focus on Maths,Physics and chemistry from K-8 to K-12.
My kid had been using the kidskab service to get dropped at his aftercare. They pick up kids from various neighborhood schools - Stocklmeir, Faria and others.
The drivers are friendly, and on time. Am pretty happy with the service. They charge $7 per trip. If you let them know 2 weeks in advance that certain days you would not need the service - they waive the fee.
He is absolutely great. Unlike some other doctors, he never tries to rush you and very patient in listening to your issues. I will highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great PCP.
Pi-Ling is a great piano teacher. My daughter has been going to her for over a year now for private lessons. She is extremely knowledgable and teaches every patiently - keeping the interest of the child. She takes private lessons at her home in Cupertino.
Alot of my friends kids go to her as well for years now. She organizes performances, buys the piano books for the kids, rewards them when they do well.
Overall extremely satisfied with the class.
Traveled from SFO to Delhi in December via Dubai. I traveled with 2 kids aged 7 and 1. Emirates has new planes so that is good. The economy seats are comfortable and they have a great in-seat entertainment system. We took 4 middle seats together so the kids could stretch their legs and get some sleep.
The flight was on time from SFO to Dubai and then to Delhi. Took a stopover in Dubai and its a great city to visit. The people are friendly and its clean and very safe. The city has some amazing malls but stuff is very expensive as compared to US.
The in flight service is above average though can be better if they need to compete with Singapore and Cathay.
They do not have milk for kids but have milk powder and also baby food like Gerber etc. Fruits are not there in economy but when i asked for my kid, the hostess got from business class so that was cool. They have kids meals option which has stuff like nuggets, corn, veggies etc. and candy. They also give small bags with toys, color material etc for kids. The entertainment system has lots of cartoons and games so that sure will keep the kid busy if he/she is that age.
The experience on trip back was not that great due to weather delays. The flight from Delhi to Dubai had to be canceled due to fog in Delhi but we had to sit in the plane for 6 hours. The Lead flight attendant on the plane was quite rude when people pressed him to de-plane so people can wait at airport instead of cramped up on the plane. That lead to missed connections and re-scheduling via New York instead of getting a direct flight to San Francisco due to busy travel season. It turned out to be quite an ordeal and some of the ground staff was very helpful & understanding while some was not so much.
Overall i think the quality of an organization is seen when things go wrong and i was not very impressed with Emirates handling of the situation.
As such the experience was mixed and i will look at other options such as Singapore or Cathay before i book on Emirates again.
